Big lesson in my 2 year rehab journey for sciatica from a herniated disc is a chronically tight muscle is usually a weak muscle. You can stretch and stretch, but you won't see permanent relief until you strengthen that muscle.
Could have solved my glute/hip tightness years ago if I paid attention.

A gentle reminder - always re-rack your weights. Thank you
Using new windshield wipers in their first rainfall is satisfying.
Another great Masters final. Congrats Rory!
If I want Americans to take one lesson from Hungary it’s this: you can win even IF the system is rigged against you. Fascism is so fundamentally weak that it can be beaten with even limited democracy.
So much for a low drama Masters. What a Saturday!
Could it be due to players settling into live service grooves like Fortnite and Roblox, and find little reason to leave? Maybe.
Is it the damn phones with short form content? Maybe.
Or is it our culture is fractured and splintered that we find it hard to come together for something? Probably.
Gaming has lost it's cultural monolithic moments. We use to have hardware or games that where these huge events that would anchor the turning of new chapter.
PS5, XSX, and Switch 2 have come and things feel static.
GTA6 is promising a cultural moment, but when was the last one?
Going through my PlayStation library tonight feeling guilty for all these PS+ games I've gotten over the years and have yet to spend single minute in.
Metal Gear shouldn't be a movie, it should be an anime with like 400 episodes.
Agreed
I found out Nathan "Bentllama" Walpole passed suddenly. He was an animator on Halo 2 & 3, always kind, sharing animation advice & critiques. He was a big part of our WoW guild. One of the characters that helped shape what I felt Bungie was as a company.

These DRAM prices won't last forever and probably resolve sooner than we expect, but being in the middle of the storm right now sucks.
Numbers of tokens used is the new number of lines of code written.
So many claims of "This will happen in X months" or "in Y years."
No one knows what is going to happen. Gather info, think critically, and make the best decisions you can.
Change will happen, but whatever is is being predicted will probably not be accurate.
I’ve watched this four times and will not be stopping anytime soon

The Netflix algorithm got me.
Finished Drive to Survive S8 last week, and the feed informed Ford v Ferrari was leaving soon. FOMO struck.
Watched Ford v Ferrari this weekend. Loved it. I heard it's a "dad" movie. The algo has me pegged.
You are, indeed, cooking
Allowing gambling on sports online was a bad idea.
It reduces to friction for susceptible people to an extremely harmful addiction.
It's training my kids to ask about gambling and when we're just trying to watch sports.
It puts college athletes, barely adults, in harms way of deranged gamblers.
Congrats!
My sugar boo … she litigating
wait, fuck, this is gorillaz
This is a very important quote from the interview that I hope every single company hoping to capitalize on the gaming industry reads and internalizes. Games are a unique market, and you can't just apply strategies from other industries and find success. This has been proven time and time again.
Good luck!

I think this is the first time I've seen a docx file in a VS Code project. Well done!
Alysa Liu telling 60 Minutes “I love struggling, it makes me feel alive” is a legit revolutionary statement from a Bay Area native in a time when copious amounts of time and resources are being put toward convincing us to opt out of experiencing struggle, friction and self-actualization
