I just tried it and didn't have to do anything apart from put my face in front of my webcam -- which I don't consider particularly intrusive since I already have my face as my profile picture. I was pleasantly surprised I didn't have to use a document.
Just did @bsky.app age verification via face age estimation. Much easier than faffing around with scanning a drivers licence or passport.
Played Clank!: A Deck-Building Adventure today boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/20... #bggplay via @boardgamegeek.com I came last in a four player game but just survived my last turn underground with only 1 yellow out of 13 cubes drawn. Very enjoyable.
Denix replica Short Land Pattern Brown Bess compared with a reenactment India Pattern. The main failing on the Denix is the bayonet attachment. It also has an octagonal barrel near the stock, which is unlikely to be correct. It's also missing sling swivels. Otherwise very nice.

My local community is getting wound up by St. Hilda's College, which appears to be making a mess of Radley Large Wood, possibly taking out too many trees in poor conditions with large vehicles. www.facebook.com/groups/60380...

Just used ChatGPT for the first time for a programming task to good effect. I wanted a Python script to merge PsychoPy CSV files based on the headers. It also successfully bug fixed the Arabic script by suggesting I try windows-1256 encoding instead of utf-8.
It's still a zip in Oxfordshire as far as I can tell.
Decided to end the festive season with a Christmas film. A bit cringe worthy in places but generally amusing. m.imdb.com/title/tt2199...

FTP access to 2000.org restored I've fixed OSCar's Secret Santa 2000ad.org/oscar/secret..., Alec Trench's Thrill Pitcher 2000ad.org/thrillpitcher/ and the Red Alert Survival Wallet 2000ad.org/redalert/. I've improved the code breaker so it now maintains case instead of only working lower to upper.
