Might even be better view than from the ground!
Im sure their floor would be quaking along with it too

Final day of #macromarch
To celebrate, Xavier is putting on a big show downtown.
...Not that he wouldn't do it anyway
#macrofurry #sizesky
Skyscraper sized fox streching towards the viewer, his body occupying a main road between large buildings, handpaws wide and in a "grabbing" pose. The palm pad and finger pads glow blue
Reaaaaachh
Large fox standing in front of the viewer wearing plain blue boxers. "body" of the viewer is pinned down by the fox's thumb

Endless materials tweaking....
Yeah! It can scale quite a bit.
I used to have 6 machines, but 4 of them I retired due to either failed hardware or not worth the running costs. Some of them were built in 2007-2008. Most of the original render farm I had was built from machines literally found in trash cans
That 3rd machine is one a friend lets me use a few hours a day
It largely depends on how many machines I have attached.
Before I got any usable GPUs, it'd shrink my render times from a year+ down to 3 months.
These days it's more like 3 weeks to 2 weeks (unless I can borrow more compute power). I've got one RTX 3080, and one Xeon(R) CPU E7- 4830 @ 2.13GHz
Screenshot of a render management program displaying 3 connected servers in various states of progress
Renderfarm go brrrr
Rainy day
funk/disco music playlist
Warm cozy room
Updating a distributed rendering system tool to automatically manage blender versions
it's a vibe
Thank you! I'm like 2 months into this one XD
3d POV render of an anthromorphic fox with dick on the table to the left of the viewer's POV, black background, harsh lighting
3d POV render of an anthromorphic fox with his thumb in waistband and tugging down. As seen as a basic colored 3d model as a screenshot of a window of a 3d modelling program
Some of the even earlier stages...
3d POV render of an anthromorphic fox with his thumb in waistband and harsh shadows cast onto his shorts as seen from a low angle
3d POV render of an anthromorphic fox with his thumb in waistband and soft shadows cast onto his shorts as seen from a low angle
3d POV render of an anthromorphic fox with his thumb in waistband and tugging down, softer shading in the image overall than the previous two
3d POV render of an anthromorphic fox with his thumb in waistband and tugging down, softer more visually appealing glow effects and color toning added vs the previous 3 images on this post
4 of the many many stages of refining lighting while animating....
That's such a cool concept!
Also, my foxboi
A macro trying to sneak up on a friend they know lives downtown, crawling through on all-fours as low to the ground as they can, despite barely fitting in the streets
but at the same time simply unable to not cause damage to everything around them
Fox magic ahaha XD
Trying to do fabric simulation for a pair of shorts...
Why does all the fabric fly upwards???
Turns out I had set gravity to be reversed years ago in the blend file and never changed it back to normal.
It behaves a lot better now.
It is kinda funny though.
Also being an animator that likes to put in a lot of subtle movements despite the amount of time it takes
I appreciate the small details you add and understand how much effort goes into it!
At the end of the day it's better off doing stuff YOU want to see done anyway ^^
Greyscale model of a lean, muscular, Anthropomorphized fox in shorts shrugging
Why does giving him shorts make him hotter...
A manectric
Gonna be at MFF soooon
If you see me there, don't hesitate to say hello!
I don't bite!
Makes me wonder if these industry measurements that they were originally using were created based on games that either didn't do background loading, OR had a lot of small files.
Would love to find the original dataset
Holy heck that'd be a view
Will be seeing you in Rosemont!
yeah I do! I chop it up and throw it in near the beginning, it adds a mild vegetal flavor to the whole thing!
Alternatively you could cook it down and add it in more than 50% of the way though the cooking time
Yesss
Also Bok Choy is good in spaghetti too!
Aww thanks!
If it weren't for the blue glow I might be pretty hard to spot!
I really wanted to try to capture the vibe of autumn here!
A still 3d render of a giant fox sliding down the side of a shallow hill through a forest of trees. Just in front of him is stream with more orange and red leaves floating down In the background is more tree covered hills streching into the distance with a partly cloudy sky beyond
The end of Autumn is fast approaching, winter is nearing
What better way to end it other than jumping into a pile of leaves!
