I second the vote for Rivals. Enjoyable tosh. Sending soothing vibes.
I'd like to add if I may be so bold the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Day Concert. Dispiriting. Soul sucking. Turgid.

I messed up today and just sneaked it on the sixth. I haven't done the quiz for a while. Not in the mood for it. A touch of the springtime blues is colouring my little world.
After five hours of unbroken worrying away at bits of paper and paint I deserve this.

It's nicely done.
No they don't unfortunately. I usually have to purchase a minimum of ten sheets with prices ranging from ยฃ3.50 to over ยฃ10.00 per sheet.
After a long day of paint whispering this...

I'll find a use for the lighter one. I'm on a paper hunt due to my usual paper becoming difficult to source. It's an expensive business trying various papers trying to find one that meets all my particular requirements. I have another couple in mind but that will have to wait for now.
Yes it was delivered. Two different weights so I had a little play around with the lighter of the two before I went out walking. It's ok. It takes colour well but it doesn't stand up to too much water. The heavier one will probably be the one I'll use more regularly.
I've just arr8ved home from my morning walk and it rained on me. Typically the sun has now appeared.

After finishing Justine the first volume of Lawrence Durrell's Alexandria Quartet in my reread of the books it seems only right and proper that I pick up the second volume. So I have done just that.

Thoughts and prayers.
Top quality precipitation. They should be grateful.
I enjoy throwing a variety of papers into the recycling when pieces go horribly wrong.
Mornin' Buzz.
Bright lights, big city.
I'm expecting a delivery of handmade paper today and I am ridiculously excited. I love the unpredictability of a handmade surface and I adore the ragged unfinished edges of the paper. I shall quell my eagerness by sloshing around in acrylics until my doorbell rings out.

Is there anyone there?
One knock for yes. Two knocks for no.
Da iawn Niall.
I'm off to daub shortly. Meanwhile...
