quite honestly, very well might be, my favourite videogame ever.

finished RE9 a while ago and then bounced between like 7 different games not really feeling any of them and not sure what i was looking for, only to do another Lies of P run this weekend and feeling complete again.

i heard about this a while ago and actually forgot it existed..!! i'll have to check it out and see where it's at. i do think the best way for these sorts of things though is open source. and one of my favourite things about cohort was hidden numbers around followers, likes, etc.

i have a completely functional alt that i've been poking at for a while. but cloud storage is always the sticking point.

every now and then i think about how good we had it with cohost.

if i could put my web dev super powers to good use it would be to make a spiritual successor if i could figure out the hosting $$$ problem.

taking a moment to pat myself on the back. over 2 years since i cut back. i still smoke from time to time (only @ rectangles 😅), but less per year then i used to smoke every day or 2. no cravings. no need to hit it before every social interaction. addiction is a bitch, but it can be beat.

pretty wild how insanely good resident evil 9 is. the way it jumps back and forth between horror and action is a masterclass in tension and release. just when you start to get used to the "scary" it goes full action-mode, priming you to be scared again later. honestly hard to put down.
