I hate asking for help, but to keep a long story short, my previous roommate, who I just kicked out, has been lying and been financially irresponsible for the past 2 months of living with me, making me take the brunt force of costs to cover for last month leaving me in the negatives. He invested in a Switch 2 and I have just been suffering because of it. I do not make enough to get out of this bind and my new roommate is not moving in until early May. It would be unfair to make them pay for my ex-roommates incompetence as they did not occupy this space. I do not want to go homeless as I am a black artist and I have no family to go to and the only thing keeping me afloat is my job. I have cats I have to keep a roof over and due to my ex-roommate I am going to be financially recovering for a long while until my new roommate moves in. All I am asking is for help. Please.

Bmo is my sweet, cuddly cat who has always had a gentle spirit. He’s the kind of cat who brings comfort to others—whenever we’ve taken in foster cats, Bmo would be the first to greet them, offering calm and kindness until they felt safe. He’s never been one to provoke or cause trouble, so when he was suddenly attacked by a dog, it was a complete shock and heartbreak for our family. The injuries Bmo suffered are serious, and he now needs surgery to recover and get back to his loving self. It’s been overwhelming to see him in pain, especially knowing how much he’s given to other animals in need. I want nothing more than to help him heal and return to the gentle, caring companion he’s always been. If you’re able to help in any way, I truly appreciate it more than I can put into words. Bmo has always been there for other animals in need, and now he needs that same kindness in return. Any support, prayers, or even sharing his story means everything to us.
