You are so missing the point. NOBODY was defending themselves. They were chasing a criminal, they shot an innocent bystander and used Stand My Ground as a defense.

So when an innocent bystander gets shot, you believe Stand Your Ground in the appropriate defense? How exactly does an innocent bystander comply when they are already following the law?

Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law needs to be repealed. The sooner the better.
