I have gotten really into making my own physical media copies lately. CDs, cassettes, minidiscs. I honestly have been finding so much more enjoyment in music because I get to interact with it more than just an algorithm.

I have gotten a lot of vintage/retro audio equipment in the past few years. I now have three turntables, two amps, an SACD player, a tape deck, a minidisc player, and a 5.1 surround system for the SACDs. I did not think I would end up becoming a vintage audio collector but here we are.

I am redoing my audio setup and it looks like a music store threw up in my room. Three turntables, a CD player, a bunch of preamps and me setting up space for my inbound 5.2ch amp to go with my new SACD player and surround setup. I don't have any SACDs yet, but I'll be ready when I do.

Today's a shitty day to be a resident of #capecod. Woke up to no power and whiteout conditions. I'm glad I have a pellet stove otherwise it would be dangerously cold right now.

Woke up with cottonmouth and a scratchy throat. Feel fine but hopefully it doesn't get worse. My job requires me to talk all day.

The CES coverage has reignited my hope for new 3D TVs. I love my VR theater, but I'd rather sit on a couch to watch 3D movies with other people.

eBay gods have graced me. Two turntables I wanted both gave me great deals. Can't wait to clean them up and enjoy some vintage direct drive systems.

Sometimes I wish I had this thing that would remind me to do something on a set date in the future so that I wouldn't forget to do the thing I need reminding of. It would be really neat if that existed. Feel like that would be a great and useful invention for productivity.

Moon Music from #Coldplay is nice. I didn't know what to expect since I haven't listened to an album from them in ages, but it had me feeling some type of nostalgia I didn't even know I had. Would definitely recommend, solid 7, almost 8/10
