It's a SNES game in roughly the Illusion of Gaia aesthetic, but it's a dungeon builder action RPG where you build a dungeon and defend it, but it's Feng Shui aesthetic and the flow of elemental energy gives you bonuses and there's like 3 layers of This beyond what you need to play well.

(and then when they GAed it the first customer to buy into it was Xfinity with an ad that triggered my misophonia and I literally stopped watching Twitch for 3 months until the campaign ran out)

And this was if you had Turbo. They just didn't account for Turbo for A While in their launch of this.

I dunno how much "normal users" got impacted by those tests. Me watching things in mpv and streamlink? I'd get flashbanged by Wingstop ads in 4k/10,000kbps at 300% volume every 15-20 minutes that were embedded in the video stream.

They did like 4 test rounds where it was JANK before they GAed it.

Stumbled across someone talking about Live A Live's localization and it reminded me of how the fan patch and the remake localize a major scene differently.

This all assumes people have any faith at all that info will be acted on in good faith. I do; I'm frequently naive though.

I will say one thing with certainty: if you make a public callout demanding action, you need to equip people with the info to take that action.

I do need to know the org has an action to take before them and must.

So I kind of just sit and spin around this idea of "There needs to be some way we can see improvement here, and judge if it's enough"

and it just doesn't work that way, and it sucks.

A lot of recent stuff with GDQ has been rustling some of my own personal trauma with other groups and it's "I wish I made more noise on the way out"

and that's not the right option for everyone. But a lot of what happened to me was quiet and my response was to get mad and help build better places.

Absolutely. An actionable public callout should include a clear path to restoration that can be checked and said "Yes they did the work"

So hopefully we get somewhere where GDQ can see info on what happened and know the community expects it to be taken seriously.

That's all I want out of this.

I don't think it means you're cooked, or a bad actor or anything. You have info and past history no one else does or could possibly know.

I ended up in a situation like this just yesterday with something completely unrelated to this. I heard things but they couldn't be told; so for the purposes of it all I was "the accuser", so it naturally became about me. It's not easy or fun.

Keep the core accusation substantial as best you can.

I'm not saying this out of anger or defending them. If there are stories they should be told. I don't want you silenced.

I believe you that you have stories about this. I think the misstep here was calling out a specific person, but I'm not sure if you've substantiated that you have actual stories about them from your investigations.

So there's this vague implication that no one can justly act on.
