Researcher screened Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog ticks) collected from domestic dogs in Kumasi, Ghana. 40.9% of tick pools were positive for pathogen DNA.
These findings provide critical data and highlight the need for integrated tick control, improved diagnostics, and expanded surveillance.
