Today I'm hopeful because there is at least 1 event per day to get involved in. A corner protest, a raid response training, Resistance Lab or One Million Rising training, neighborhood group planning, etc. Love that people are thirsty for getting involved.
This morning's protest - only 2 middle fingers and 1 "stop swearing" in relation to a sign holder's choice to keep it really simple. Keep the honks coming in support of fighting fascism!
I happened to be in line behind him. The paltry responses from 911 and our police precinct were disappointing and not surprising. In line with our weak mayor who has excellent people running against him.
Got to hear from a resolute fascist administration supporter at a town hall this week. I was surprised and kind of stunned by his unabashed & confident show of toxic masculinity, and the way he escalated when he didn't get any push back from the crowd.
