Perfect Grade, actually!

The head is finished. This was a pain to put together and I was sweating bullets the whole way through.

Just the arms, backpack and some of the weapons to go.

Day 3 or 4 now of the PG Unicorn. With no breakages I was able to complete the rest of the legs as well as the waist and skirt armor. This thing is colossal.

Arms, Head, Backpack, and Weapons left, and then my first Perfect Grade is done.

They also had (out of frame) the MGEX Strike Freedom, PG Unleashed RX 78 2, and another kit I can’t remember right now. If I remember I’ll post it as a comment.

I don’t know if I shared this but here’s all the #gunpla kits my local store had acquired when I bought the PG Unicorn. Is there anything you guys think I should try out myself?

THIS IS SICK!

I have the Full Weapon Set version of the RX 78 2, as well as the Strike, and despite them loosening up as of late, including the C clips in the legs, they’re both awesome.

The Wing however… that barely lasted a few months before the leg joint snapped.

EGs can be a lot of fun, but they have flaws.

A mass production MS would also be great to see. A GM? A Jegan? Maybe… a ZAKU?

A Zaku or GM for about $10 retail? And more readily available, and modern than the older HGs? (Not saying they’re bad let me be clear)

That would be sick!

More people could pick up enemy suits, as well as build armies!

I’ve been saying this since I built the RX 78. While I have a few problems with EG’s, mainly their leg joints which can be too loose or tight (my RX78 is wobbly, my Wing outright broke) those eyes are a highlight. Just make them translucent on the higher grades and 👌.

I was planning to film a review of the Entry Grade Wing Gundam, and talk about why I don’t recommend it. The tightness of the leg joints, and their infamy for breakage. But it looks like it did the work for me.

I’d recommend avoiding this one.

All done with the feet. Those polycaps are murder on my hands. I did accidentally cut one of the really teeny marks on one of the pegs, mistaking it for sprue. Nonetheless, everything went together perfectly, and is nonetheless super tight… for now. Hands hurt.

Same with LPs but it uses crazy black magic powers inscribed in a vinyl disc, and you do have to flip it over every so often. Not as elegant but still
