Yeah, artificial scarcity as a value proposition has always fundamentally felt "cheap" to me; catering to ultra-wealthy collectors is not a sustainable system for an arts community

I grew up in a secular buddhist (navayana) family and never really got into the religious/spiritual fervor of some of my peers in Texas but there is definitely something that feels almost transcendental in exploring & learning about the beauty of the natural world
