RPS asked me to write about DLSS5, the "neural rendering" tech that Nvidia have been crowing about, that uses generative AI techniques to replace rendered graphics. I wrote about framerates, fakery, and how you seize control of an industry.

Trying to grasp what is possible with the #distingnt module is a race against the devs adding new features #eurorack

Now that I do things got much easier, its not about clothes anymore, about practicality, which is still important, but always lead to boring projects, that seemed too much work when I could just buy these basics, now its about the story I tell myself during the making & will make the pieces special

Found out really early that I love dressing to tell a story often one to make people smile, I don’t know why it took me so long to see clearly that I should do the same when planning my craft, I did this unconsciously, but even if my inspiration books told me so, it is as if I couldn’t lean into it

Don’t know you well enough to know what kind of games you like, but Dredge is a very well made game, also if you haven’t tried yet, maybe look at Dorfromantik, I have access to both of them on desktop (I don’t know on the top of my head if Mac works), but I love playing them on the Switch

Aka its the time in the decade again where I habe to reevaluate stuff (I mean literal stuff not life choices) and find ways to get rid of it, replace broken or not functioning stuff with better solutions, I have Ikea drawers that are 15 yers old, they were not made for the heavy load I put on them

Going from I will never buy USM furniture to I need some USM for my studio/office, because all the knock-offs are not working long term, will try to source as much as I can second hand, actually would probably not mind some random colors thrown in

I built a small tool to get you up and running faster in #genuary26

You should keep painting, its a strong interesting piece with good balance in form and color and interesting texture and depth, looking at it doesn’t get boring because you can discover new things rotating it or zooming in

SuperSonic - SuperCollider's Synthesis Engine in the Browser SuperCollider's powerful scsynth audio synthesis engine running in the browser as an AudioWorklet. Zero installation.

I just pushed v0.18.1 of SuperSonic to both GitHub and npm.

This feels pretty much like a v1 release.

I'm holding off tagging it as such as I want to give it more time to bake and subject it to some serious usage.

Please take a look and let me know what you think.

No sorry have no experience with that one, I choose the Disting NT because I wanted something ready to use, but still customizable

Added 8 more games. I hope you like them, and that this helps the devs. As always, any recommendations are welcome! 💜

In music trying to find out what Expert Sleepers Disting NT can do, everything I know, its Lua programmable, but seriously this thing is a powerhouse, never thought about using eurorack for a performance, but with the Disting NT I could probably put together a minimal mobile setup

Tested this Gelli plate thingy, it fun, its almost relaxing, because you have to step away from time to time to let it dry, so time for coffee, I am most hyped about using it to print on old jeans scraps to upcyle them into a jacket

Today is music day, playing with some plug-ins
MIDI from iPad TC-Data
→ CosmosfM31 from @soniclabcreations.bsky.social
→ Spectrasonic Omniphere Ambient Dreams Tubular Choir
→ PassBot also from SonicLab is a crazy combination.
Is it overkill? Yes, but also so much fun

Today after some long years actually had to type stuff in the Windows terminal window again, neither my gaming nor Unity require it, I had to look the commands up and I started with DOS, but years of Linux and quasi Linux aka Mac will do that to you, installed WSL ASAP

Me, but it was because my Hardware was to weak for Debian and that was around probably 25 yrs ago :-)
