I begin packing up my things, making to scarper before anything nasty rocks up to ruin my morning.

Score! An arrow trap! This is exactly what the fletchers guild sent me in for.

I carefully approach looking for the activation device, then place down the straw target I brought with me to catch the bolts as I activate the trap repeatedly with a stick.

Dawn > Tides > Flowers > Lights > Flame > Storms > Winds > Leaves > Mists > Frost > Ice > Silence

Each has its own weather table for the next update, and if I get round to it a calander of major holidays

To be fair, most of the O/U folks I know are getting their discord megagame fix from Cataphracts right now. Though a few sporadic little LTRP things have cropped up too. Its working out sustainable engagement patterns thats the challenge.

The Aspirants Thicket, the free 1 page dungeon that comes with the release, is some of my favourite writing to date for the game. Im phenominally happy with it. Hitting that dark fantasy empty spaces adjacent body horror by way of the Southern Reach tone i've been craving.

As a little taster of the kinds of things to expect from the Map of the Mire as it develops this spread showcases 11 fundamental truths of the world. Its the closest thing the game has to a magic system, and it also has a cool corpse dragon on it.

Seeing if I can smash out a little one page dungeon before v0.2 of DQ&D drops tomorrow. Its a horrible little witch lair full of misbecame aspirants who didnt know what they were getting into.

Completely misread this as 1 page adventures the first time round. This is very compelling though, tempting to try and do both at once for a little adventure chapbook. See just how much detail you can get in a a4 fold up zine.

Working on some fun stuff for the big top level world building in DQ&D. Likely out in zine form tomorrow or later this eve over on the itch page.
