I genuinely think ElvUI's issue here is that he used their code and was charging people for it so profiting of someone elses work. I have a feeling they wouldn't have brought it up if it was a free UI (and gave credit where it was due).

following this WoW drama about paid add ons reminds me of sims 4 CC being paywalled. Add ons should not be paywalled. Just because some people do, doesn't mean you should, and we need to call out the people who do paywall and not pay for their shit. Who tf is paying a sub for a questing add on???

just a reminder to not blame Blizzard now you have to install 7 add ons to do the same thing WA did. Blame the 'players' who have been screeching for years about NO ADD ONS for the sake of this mythical new player that they think NEEDS WA and DBM from day 1. They're the ones that asked for this.

Productive day for the new character, got through Leviathan and Ramuh and also did LotA. Finished off the day with 2.4's starting quest ready to go, but I'll probably do Syrcus tower first before continuing on. Genuinely been refreshing going through ARR again and honstly, it's not THAT bad.
