Top image with Jerry saying, "You're crying because of Artemis II?" Bottom image with George saying, "The spirit of space travel got to me." Jerry then says, "Alright."
Artemis II stream has reminded me how important *science communication* is. Enthusiasm is contagious, enthusiasm is soul.
Times have been exhausting as of late, especially with the surrounding context of it all, but... this feels like a glimmer.
Holy shit, just checked and it's real. LinkedIn has a list of thousands of Chrome extensions that it tries to fetch from your computer every time you visit to check if you have them installed, and then they can map those to your real name since they have that.

hello 👋 i have developed a new tool called blüuümpíi. blüuümpíi will convert every file on your hard drive to a .wav file without asking you, maximize your system volume, and play them on every bluetooth speaker you have ever connected to. if you offer feedback on blüuümpíi i will take legal action

i love it when i go to solve a problem under peak conditions, and then in synthetic testing it doesn't show up.
Yeah of course it didn't, it's not peak conditions.
It behaving the same is what we *want* actually
“i want a restaurant that only sells spam musubis”
“you want a musuberia!”
I will admit it still feels... somewhat odd? Using COSMIC on a computer of mine but after some settings being changed it's usable.
Still some QOL changes I'd like to make it "more like other stuff", but that's me being opinionated as all getout.
A metro station of brutal concrete blocks and jagged black obelisks.
“You finished those DC metro stations?”
“Sure thing boss, beautiful, moodily lit and oddly unsettling, just like you asked.”
“What?”
From later in the thread: “These are among the highest statewide levels anywhere in the U.S. in a long time.” Protect yourselves, friends.
