Like I see a hardware store cat and I scream "fuck yeah" and get my pets on.

I would like to write an article about the pure, indescribable joy I receive upon coming across a cat in a hardware store.

Every day I worked on it, I imagined the love and care that my grandfather put into his craft. I felt him there. That's what makes me proud of this.

Now, what's next?

One cold morning, I was thinking of how to add a record stand to our living room and my mind went to the pulpit. Maybe it would work. So we sanded it, added shelving, stained and painted it, and most importantly made it inaccessible to Oscar (he loves grabbing records).

A pulpit turned into a record player stand

My grandfather was a carpenter. I never really understood it nor was I ever interested in it.

In January, my wife found this old pulpit on the side of the road and thought it would be a cool....something. She grabbed it and put it in the woodshed.
