There is a 100% chance at least one people you know will be there lol; at this point as long as there is an LVFC I’m planning to be there. It’s a really good time and a very fun con, and I recommend checking it out at least for a day to see if you like it.

Definitely is more of a room event oriented con than a panel oriented con imo. Similarly because it’s a 21+ space, the booze flows more freely than at other conventions, but I don’t think it’s like a “oh you gotta get smashed to have a good time” thing *at all*.

It didn’t, at least as far as I could see. The Alexis isn’t a casino and neither is the Serene, so you have to leave the con for the Virgin or farther to really go gambling. Party wise I will say it’s a LOT more free flowing “oh hey stop by here it’s all open” given the park’s layout.

I have no issue with people disliking the US, but I think disliking it on the basis of (checks notes) being insufficiently murderous and brutal in Vietnam, having loud music and porn, and the concept of a free press in general is a bad reason to dislike it!
