Last nostalgic post. I worked with many great artists on Gwenpool, but she would not be the character still so loved today if it weren't for @gurihiru.bsky.social. And while I never got to spend any time with Gwen's buddy, Jeff the land shark, I'm so glad they get to still draw her in his stories.

A lengthy email outlining the first four issue of Gwenpool that I simply do not have the characters to write here.

And here is the proposal I sent to @cracksh0t.bsky.social and @heatherantos.bsky.social for the first four issues, complete with sketchy and abandoned ideas alongside material that made it all the way to the finish line.

It's been 10 years since issue 1 of Unbelievable Gwenpool, which means its been 10 years and 4 months since I took a phone call from @cracksh0t.bsky.social and yelled "FUUUUUCK YEESSSSSS!" on the street, in public, when he told me that the series was happening.

I wish I could share the artwork that Denis Medri is turning in for this book. I know I'm supposed to reach for a better word in the vocabulary to describe these pages, but all I can say is they are just COOL.

I could never do it (I love all my children equally) but if I HAD TO rank my Top Ten These Those episodes, it would be difficult to leave off any of the last seven, starting with CB the Cool-Baby. Which is pretty cool for a show that's been around for a minute!
