Agree with local grocery stores! As a teacher, I always appreciated it because I could spend that on food and then have extra $ from my monthly grocery budget to do whatever I wanted! It’s as close to cash as possible since we all buy groceries!

The NRP Report (2000) found that independent silent reading may not be the most efficient use of instructional time.
In our study, we replicated the finding. We found that independent reading didn't contribute meaningfully to improved reading outcomes.

I used Calendly. It was a life saver. You mark all your available times and participants choose a time and schedule. They can even cancel. Calendly then put the appointment on my calendar. Not sure if it would work for you but just wanted to suggest it in case!
