Could it be that they asked about players availability on other teams and the Lakers were the only ones who would consider trading AD. Then when they knew it was possible, is that when they brought Luka's name into the conversation?

If you want a team that has same city rivalry the Jets are probably the Everton but the Giant aren't Liverpool.

2 LA teams are pretty soulless as they moved there from other Citys.

Patriots, Commanders and Bears all have young Quarterbacks to get behind

It's dead easy putting up a graph of what someone has won as a manager.

What do Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Man Utd, Spurs, Roma, Fenerbache have in common with current Everton predicament.

Manager hires are all about suitability not reputation or history

They are a good side for sure

Bournemouth 2nd in the Premier League on xPoints over the last 10 games. Everton 3rd bottom.

Basically if you create more quality chances than you concede, you generally win more points.

Relying solely on "nicking a goal" isn't a sustainable plan

But Thomas Franks a defensive manager isnt he????

People often call for managers to be given time or more windows. You have to earn it. Performances or developing players etc why should a club by into you if your not showing any shoots of positive work

He is and was never a wide right player

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

He cost £1m one cost £28m and One cost £6m. Hard to compare them really isnt it. He scored 56 PL goals hard to do that if you're not a PL striker. Be fair

People want a new Everton but want Richarlison back and potentially to sign a on loan midfield for good money who played a few games and been alright. Have we not learned anything from last 7 years (Mangala decent btw but review at end of season rather than paying money before you know for sure)

Not trying to change yours just adding context to the debate

Depends what you mean by rate him. Do i think he a top 8 PL striker? No! Do i think he a PL level striker? yes. Do i think he been a good signing? Yes.
Will he be starting for Everton next season if we buy right and he stays? I hope not.
Do i think he harshly treated? Yes

He played as a 10/CF on loan at Northampton. He started out as a CM in Academy for Sheff Utd, i know this as my mate played for Sheff United at time. In England setup as a young player he was compared to Teddy Sheringham. Never heard of him playing Wide Right ever and hasnt got skillset for it.

Four*

He played the equivalent of 5800 mins in Premier league since 21/22 and scored 16 goals. Thats one in for not great but not terrible either.

Top strikers miss chances part of the game. I agree that Dom is not a natural finisher but he done a good job for Everton over his time. Do we need better yes but i just don't get the pile on when he doesn't get the service

Dom is a right sided attack like a Salah type position?

Tbf Beto often comes on late against tiring defends when we chasing a equaliser or a winner when we throwing crosses into the box. He usually playing against tired defenders. Calvert Lewin plays them fresh when we sitting in a low block and gets no service or support. Thats not to say DCL amazing

The scrum half for England Rugby team?

1 year ago 1 0 0 0

He been a loan striker most of his PL career and scored 56 Premier League goals for one of the worst attacks in league. Yes we will need better to progress no doubt but for £1M he been a great signing

1 year ago 4 0 1 0

Again Beto often comes in late in games when we searching for equaliser or looking for a win. Dom spent 80 minutes toiling in a game more 50/50. Its a completely different situation. No1 is saying he a top PL striker

1 year ago 4 0 1 0

When he gets service he clearly troubles the best we have seen it with our own eyes. Dont think anyone saying DCL is on same level as Isak but he works hard for the team and does the role the manager wants
