Two weeks before his death, Baby Jake had been flown to Moose Factory and diagnosed with croup. When his breathing became laboured again on April 9, 2026, his family rushed him to the Fort Albany hospital. He was blue, struggling to breathe, and clearly in distress. Yet no oxygen was given. No IV was started. No air ambulance
