Spinning up to do a Xenonauts 2 video which I'm pretty excited about but I'm also feeling a pull to do a grand commentated rewatch of Shirobako (my favorite anime) in the same way I did for Kill la Kill. Never did bring myself to watch the movie on that one

It's basically a remake of the first one in the same way that the first one was a remake of classic X-COM, in the sense that it's kind of the same game but polishes it up and evolves many of the features. Kind of a Left 4 Dead 2 situation, if you get me.

I like it more than the first one so far

Xenonauts 2's innovate addition to the X-COM formula is adding a type of mission where YOU'RE the one surrounding a tiny starting area in a superior position, and enacting the the tactical combat equivalent of jumping someone with the whole squad
