The hmdb.org is a wonderful database of the historical markers. Find something interesting near you! Just be aware, the historical markers tend to be celebrating colonialist achievements. History has so many lenses.

One of the interesting things near us in Ohio is the highest point in the state. When we lived in FL, we laughed about it being an overpass. We took my sister and brother-in-law to see the big sights.

This is so sad. Their country is in a horrible condition right now. The threat of being forcibly returned when even American airlines are being shot at the airports... it's horrific.
