Do you mean the (long) licence agreement page or did the website-provider pop up a cookie thing? I think I remember such a popup but I don't think it was out of the ordinary.

I teased DesTest VIC20 at VCF Montreal. Today I've released it. Take a look here: factorofmatt.com/destest-vic20
There are two binaries: one for use on a standard 8K cartridge and one as a replacement kernal.
I think you have to find a couple of LEDs and a 6mm tactile switch too. :)
Great Job!
A DesTest Max Switch cartridge for the C64.
A monitor showing a full memory test screen for the DesTest-max-switch.
Feels like ages since I built anything but I finally got around to making my Destest Max Switch. Now I just need to find some more non-working C64s as I've recently got all mine working.
Who is coming to the World Of Commodore 2025 this weekend? woc.tpug.ca
You're coming, @trinastechnobabble.bsky.social aren't you?
I'll have my finners crossed.
Hey folks. Tomorrow, Thursday, October 23,, 2025, at 2pm eastern I am going to be installing memory on a 286 mommyboard. Come watch the fun and see if I can get a solid beep after installing the memory.

Well, Lee, Adrian and Mark - how about this?
DesTestKernal - a version of DesTest that you can program onto an appropriate PROM as a replacement for the C64 kernal ROM. When cartridges fail you, this little beauty might just get the job done!

Yesterday I was goaded by @morefunmakingit.bsky.social and @adriansdigitalbasement.com (with @theretrochannel.bsky.social as a likely accomplice).
Now what do I do?

Rocking the lounge at Heathrow like it's 2016.

At Heathrow central station waiting for a bus to take me to Swindon for RetroFest this weekend.
A few more and you'll be able to build a C64 completely from failed chips. That's got to be worth something to someone.
This is very cool. Glad to see it!
I bought myself some of the SuperPLA sockets recently with the intention of fully socketing my shortboard. I have found neither the time nor the testicular fortitude to do so. I think perhaps I've been inspired.
I venerate my '128.
Can has SCART too?
I'm glad to see you've put your new Swiftlink to such a great use!
The addresses all being the same turns out to be a bug that @morefunmakingit.bsky.social has expertly discovered in some new (not yet released) code. (now fixed).
The quickest way to find problems with code is simply to let other people try it.
Well now I'm wondering that too...
The border and address ($D800) indicate something went wrong testing video SRAM nybbles.
What is not clear is why the same address shows up so many times (the maximum should be 4 times per address).
Also, the colour RAM looks fine (well, black text is correct).
That monitor has some fine looking stickers!
