Weirdly even the instant release stuff seems to hang out in my system for a long time.

It’s funny but it’s not funny.

Taking care of physical health is a really important thing and it bugs me that so much of the fandom doesn’t.

Im all for body positivity but thats not going to prevent the myriad of avoidable health problems down the line.

I’m overjoyed that this fluid looks like shit.

It means the previous owner abandoned ship without flushing the case (flushing the case usually fixes it). If this fluid were beautiful it would mean I get to pull the xfer case.

Historically the fix for tcase issues is easy: change the fluid, drive 100 miles, then change the fluid again. After that, change the fluid every oil change or once a year.

It’s cheap and easy.

I’ll report back on whether or not it fixes my issues but given how gross the fluid is, I’m confident.

Time to see what the underside of this thing looks like.

Also going to change the transfer case fluid, and prey that’s the issue.

It’s possible the chain stretched but usually it’s just gross fluid that causes the slight popping I am experiencing.
