Some of your favorite @podandthependulum.bsky.social baddies jotted down some franchises they’d like to cover.
Put ‘em in check and sound off on what franchise YOU would like to see get the P&P treatment.

This move upset me but it upset me in ways I was not anticipating.
I’ll be thinking about this movie, and Alicia, for a BERY long time.
Finally the story of MY Damien. A teen that needs a cool five seconds of angst at the beach to accept his fate as the Antichrist.
18/10 no notes.
Characters that are lambasted for being too annoying, too extra, too draining for needing extra supports. Putting the onus on them instead of systems that fail both then and caregivers/care partners.
Additionally, these characters are often not just seen as being creepy/weird/suspect.
Franklin in the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE.
Samuel in THE BABADOOK.
Linda’s daughter in IF I HAD LEGS, I’D KICK YOU.
A film that has really stuck with me from last year?
IF I HAD LEGS, I’D KICK YOU.
As someone born with developmental disability and know heartache and backaches my mom went through to get to where I am today: the discourse around this movie is just keeps saying why folks think I shouldn’t exist.
Grateful for @mikesnoonian.bsky.social and the team he’s got over at @podandthependulum.bsky.social for letting me bombard their space from time to time.
Aww. THANK YOU. @podandthependulum.bsky.social is a beast of a show am so humbled by the amazing folks they have (and they allow me to crash). ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What better time to do @bodiesofhorror.bsky.social’s 1st revisit than with the 1992 classic, DR GIGGLES? This film has had a piece of Nichole's heart since childhood when she used it to talk about disability with friends.
Now, decades later, the film packs more nuance than even she remembered.
HAPPENING TOMORROW.
❤️
Yep.
First episode of 2026. Countdown of favorite horror films I saw in 2025, with a sly shoutout to Novocaine as an “honorable mention.”
Adore @glitterburrito.bsky.social and ALL of her content - there is something so incredibly lovely about peeling about back the layers and discovering the heartbeat behind folks and they things (people, places, and things) they cherish.
Great list and has me feeling all positive and appreciative.
I feel God in this airport Chili’s.
It’s been a hot minute but tonight I get delve into one of America’s pastimes:
Sleeping in an airport
NEW EPISODE ALERT! And one with maybe some of my hottest takes?
A cool time talking about “pretty privilege” and how the gremlins were NOT the problem in that town.
James PJ Ransone giving the thumbs up to Scott, who is off camera.
James PJ Ransome in an outtake from The Black Phone, smiling into the camera.
Sometimes you work with cast or crew just once. Other times you make 5 movies with the same person. So instead of saying goodbye, on the last day of shooting, many of us say “See you on the next one.”
Today, I don’t want to say goodbye, so let me just say, PJ, my friend, see you on the next one.
Tomorrow on the #AOASPodSquad: Nichole's @bodiesofhorror.bsky.social returns to discuss witches, father/son combos and creepy morgues with 2016's THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE.
As you may imagine, I have absolutely no THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ABOUT THIS.
I submit my first: there are actors with cleft lips. Wild, but true!

NEW EPISODE DROP!!
Heading out to see KEEPER. MANAGE MY EXPECTATIONS!
NEW EPISODE ALERT.
I got to (somewhat) put on my former theatre major hat and chat about Taymor’s phenomenal adaptation of Shakespeare’s TITUS.
Arguably Bill’s most brutal and bloody work, we see how bodily autonomy and mutilation make the political personal.
I was just talking about this movie a week or so ago! Fun fact: LPs (little people) were cast for an ending scene and I popped off about it. Haha
YES YES YES!
This past week was my birthday and it had me thinking:
How do we acknowledge changed ideas on art based on lived experience?
Is there a change in expectations of how you approach content at a certain age?
Confession: as someone who likes to have Court TV on the background, I managed to catch (I think) all of the testimony in Alex’s trial and have been following the appeals/corruption drama.
True crime can be handled horribly but @jennferatu.bsky.social and @joelipsett.bsky.social are FANTASTIC.
My feelings on FREAKS runs deep and wide. And disability representation ing horror (obviously). So excited for this.
I enjoyed this movie more than a lot of folks, I think, and I cannot wait to listen to this!!
No new episode on the BODIES OF HORROR feed but my annoying voice will NOT BE SILENT.
Grateful for the amazing and kind @chewywalrus.bsky.social and Mike to let me join in the convo about V/H/S: HALLOWEEN.
Come for chat of the film and stay for chat of why the Jack in the Box mascot is the worst.
NEW EPISODE!!
So excited to talk about this film. I like the vibes a lot but we are going to go deep on those ageist tropes, and the…interesting?…things it has to say about caregiving.
