Madame loved Buck Rodgers as a cub. She is still annoyed she had to miss the very final episode to go to a primary school water safety competition at Kirkcaldy pool. She was her school's water safety team's rope throwing specialist. The team didn't win & Madame didn't care.

i feel gathering needs to become more of a secondary profession like fishing, something *EVERYONE* can do!
If I want to struggle with crafting I'll go play ESO, and if I want to struggle with gathering I'll go play GW2. 😭
Yes!! I really *want* to like the changes because I can’t really point to any one part and say, “This is the problem!” and in fact kinda like most of them objectively.
But they feel like they belong to a profession system for a different game.
The last thing gathering professions needed was additional friction.
It makes sense for some things, but gathering professions (including archaeology) should be something mindless you do while chatting with friends or listening to a podcast.
And to be clear, I only ever gather. WoW overcomplicated gathering in a way that might technically make sense but functionally is just a lot of added layers to something I never wanted to think too hard about.

I’ve been less invested in WoW professions ever since the revamp.
Primary-school-level nonsense caught the U.S. Secretary of Defense, which I think adds up to a useful public service in this context.
This prank mentality is so offensiveness to 'normal' people. It's primary school level nonsense and just seeks to humiliate and dehumanise, not build bonds and comradery.
And how often does it tip from fun to cruelty, or worse.
