A large lazy bee in the asters on a cool fall morning. Its wings seem to be folded back, so it may habe been sleeping. The asters are deep purple with brownish fuzzy centers. In the late fall, I need to be careful when watering in the morning because the bees seem to nestle in the plant for warmth in the night!

Probably not. This was in a park next to the bay, where there is a plentiful food supply for the gulls. I dont know why someone felt they needed a giant bag of seed! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I also love the colors in the water. Perfect swirls of blue and green!
