Faculty still wary of AI in classrooms, data shows. Sweeping policies from LSU admin unlikely. Around half of LSU's faculty are wary of the use of AI in the classroom, survey data shows. LSU Provost Roy Haggerty says that shouldn't be seen as a deterrent for its potential or applications.

I don’t disagree…from my experience and from talking to lots of folks about this…most institutions cannot flex quickly enough and at a suitably macro-scale to craft new policy…revising existing policy to address AI might be the most efficient way forward…
