It’s stranger still to be grieving my country at the same time. Somehow none of this connected but at the same time it all is. The breadth of emotions is immense. The heaviness of life; the gratitude. And the burden of what do I do now. How can I possibly make it better. #grief #mentalhealth

Grief is really weird. I lost my father at Christmas suddenly and even though we barely had a relationship; I am stuck in the undertow of emotions. My mother has also been in a long health battle. Loosing both of them is strange especially because they haven’t been together in decades.

I don’t care if this is false spring I’m all in baby break out the shorts I’m gonna lay out in the sun, goodbye clunky sweaters, hello sun hat. If anyone wants to find me I’ll be in my garden with tequila .

What if we just decided as a country to protest with rolling economic boycotts and blackouts. You know maybe.
