"Cleaning up the risk pool" is a euphemism for eugenicist depraved heart murder. When the Trump regime takes health insurance away from people who rely on it to pay for the medically necessary services that keep us alive, we die. RFK Jr knows that 🧵

Yes, the problem basically *was* that they made a live-action S5 and just dropped it onto the service.

My parents tried to watch Ahsoka and were totally lost. I had to explain it was actually the live-action S5 of a show they haven't seen.

Instead they keep revisiting the old timeline and earlier, with some shortly post-ROTJ side trips, and some of that is very good (early Mando! Andor!) but it's also just digging a deeper and deeper rut into the same ~30 years of setting time.

I really feel like they could have salvaged the sequels (and yet might if they don't cancel the Rey movie) by taking the CW route of building out the events around and following the bad one (TROS) so much that it becomes just a piece of the whole, diluted. Instead they've avoided it all but totally.

I agree, we're like a decade past this. Now it'd have to be one of those folding phones or something.

We got like a half dozen individual bills like this for each kid. But some of them were billed incorrectly or otherwise not legit charges. Got several reduced or dismissed.

You can fight a lot of those if they didn't tell you a provider wasn't in network (e.g. an anesthesiologist). That's often the kind of thing the extra bills are from.

If you're putting information critical to a new movie into a rerelease of a 7yo movie... what the fuck are you doing, honestly? I'm not sitting through three hours of Endgame in theaters *again*

Unhappy to report the phishing one is quickly becoming a real problem now. Why go to the trouble of social engineering when people will just give up their ID, financial info, biometrics, etc. to an AV portal? There's no standards so how can you differentiate a fake one from a real one?

The currently escalating tech backlash must be put in the context of:

“people have been listening to the most insufferable techbros in the world gleefully threaten everyone else with mass unemployment for over 6 years, and they’re sick of their shit”
