Thank you! I do quarantine my thrift store stuff and freezer treat it before putting it with the rest of my stash so not sure where these came from! Multiple votes for cedar so I’m definitely going to look into that

#knitsky I need your best practices for anti-moth yarn storage…discovered some ruined skeins this morning 💔🧶 Thankfully most was not damaged and is now in the freezer. But going forward, what to do? Mothballs, airtight containers??

Darning all my socks to welcome fall 💕🧦🧶 I just got this speed weve darning tool and it’s one of the best decisions I made! Makes darning fun and easy

Progress on the yoke of my Thistle Thicket sweater. I love this project so much! And the deep green main color fits in well with #showmeyourknits green prompt 💚 #knitsky 🧶 yarn is the fibre co Cumbria fingering - Eden valley. Also trying the ladder back jacquard technique which is SO COOL!

Hayley stands in front of the mirror wearing her gray sweater after blocking. It’s still form fitting but the fabric is more relaxed and the fit isn’t so tight.

Blocking is magic 🧶 I finished the body of my friendship pullover last night and it was a bit short, a soak and block later, it’s fitting great! A beautiful form fitting sweater to wear with high waisted pants and skirts, or over dresses. Knitted with cascade 220 worsted in silver grey. #knitsky

My friendship pullover is looking so good!! Will be trying it on soon :) I love how the ribbing flows into the cable pattern

Came here to comment this!! I’m American and I would absolutely make and wear that!!

These are incredible!! Did you have to do increases and decreases within the colorwork to get them to fit over your calves? Or do they stretch? So pretty 🥰

Oh no, I hate that! I have a favorite lipstick that’s discontinued too, had to buy it on eBay, hoping it takes forever for me to finish 😢

It depends for me. For 1/1 or 2/2 cables I usually do without the cable needle. For larger cables, sometimes I do use the cable needle because I find my tension is better - particularly with the left leaning cables, the last stitch I knit tends to get pulled out and looks too big! So, both are good

Cables - I love the deep winter hat and deep winter mittens by wool and pine designs!

Stranded colorwork - any of the “doodle” patterns I.e. autumn doodle cowl are so much fun and are a choose your own adventure of stranded motifs. You’ll definitely find one you like!
