Masked attackers jumping off of bending ladders and getting cut down by Lone Wolf

Ladders being cut in half while the guys on the ladders fall into the sea

There's a section of Lone Wolf & Cub where guys with ladders keep attacking Ogami and Daigoro on a row boat and this is what comics are all about.

This is an INCREDIBLE example of why color in comic art is so crucial. People dunk on Frank Miller's recent work all the time, but I firmly believe it all comes down to presentation. This is the exact approach to take. Even the subtle choices of coloring some of the inks adds so much the piece.
