On Twitter like two days ago I think I convinced someone not to follow a guide for Persona 3 for thematic reasons. So maybe there’s hope.

I think the only time they ever pissed me off were in Alan Wake 2, there they genuinely destroyed the vibe of the game. As extra challenges I guess I don’t see the harm. Any harm would already be part of a broader shift towards rabid completionism over anything else.
