Oh, for sure. They're going to kill countless (or maybe just uncounted) innocent people.

I kinda love that people are now calling the heads of the federal executive agencies, "Trumps Liquor Cabinet".

"The plot" is how much profit the old guard can suck from oil, gas and coal in what's left of their lives. Anything beyond that such as what it does to the country, is simply not a concern of theirs.

A 50-50 split - I thought according to him earlier it was a landslide? A mandate, no less!

I just read a post by an older white guy and all it says is,

"The President of the United States is a liar."

Eleven years. It only took eleven years to figure out that Donald Trump is dishonest.

Try to look at it from Trump's point of view: Iran gets $20 billion dollars, Donald gets $50 billion. Anything else is irrelevant to him.

Everything is a grift. Everything.

Former tobacco executive joins CDC senior leadership, raising concerns over industry influence Naming a former Imperial Brands executive for a CDC job is the latest example, advocates say, of tobacco industry influence in Trump administration.

"New CDC official used to work for multinational tobacco firm"

Sure, why not?

"That somehow made her way to the bench"

Not to be confused with Judge Aileen Cannon, who was installed precisely to protect Donald Trump regardless of her abilities as a judge or intelligence or any other trait.

For reference, public urination is only a misdemeanour. So it's safer to go outside than in.

What happens to the data centers being built for the Palantir contracts when they're not working on the war? Who will they track in real time? What data tasks will they be given?

My guess is that at first it would be which mail-in ballots to delay at the USPS, but I'm paranoid that way.

The six counties w/o stations told Cal Fire, "nah, we're good".

I agree though that the $150 fee/tax/whatever is wrong. California is supposed to be a wee bit more socialist than that. I guess it goes along with pay-as-you-go hwy lanes.

There's also a fleet of these guys that serve all counties:

That's THREE TIMES the Republicans' proposed and greatly reduced NASA budget.

They want to slash science so they can kill people and feed profits to corporations.

Iran War Energy Cost Tracker Tracks the extra cost paid by U.S. consumers for gasoline and diesel since the Iran conflict began on February 28, 2026, compared against a no-war counterfactual baseline.

We could have both science and exploration, both robotic and human.

"We @climatesollab.bsky.social track the extra fuel costs the Iran war has imposed on American households. As of today, the total is $24.6 billion, more than the annual budget of NASA."

I think perhaps "critically" in the conservative sense does not mean carefully and logically. It's more along the lines of how "gender critical" people want to eliminate transgender people. In that context, "critically" signals a dogwhistle for, "look at the research in order to eliminate it".
