I don't think that the synthesis of these ideas has worked, at all
i think that that might be the most normal thing about Christianity: it's pointless qualifications make it seem more like a quirky City Deity representing the ability to spy on anyone and bring about the apocalypse

For instance many cultures have a psychopomp, a useful and social jelly of an idea, the process between dreaming and wake, and various other degrees.
E.g. Adam/Eve totally breaks the multi modal life and offers only a correction 'no no there isn't distinct entities, all come from the Male deity'
Christian myths such as Adam and Eve seem designed for colonizing the imagination. It is a quick easy way to diminish the status of any female pantheon head as merely coming from the male.
This idea brought me to consider that Christian myths are just the remainder of conversion processes
The dude has a Nixon bowling photo on his wall+he repeats what Bush 'this will not stand'. dude doesn't like to be mislabeled despite lazily saying and not pushing back on racist terms.
the difference between the dude and Big Lebowski is the big one has remained *authentically* right wing
4/4
its also interesting to see how much the dude doesn't abide. and how coping with giving up on his leftist ideals has turned into a half hearted perhaps ironic or desperate acceptance of right wing icons and manners of speech in order to retain a sense of justice. 3/4
everyone in it is nihilistic yet the Dudes semi-repressed inability to abide injustice + Walters insanity suggest a human response American wars post-Vietnam - confusion and insanity.
Donny, then, is the true nihilist and Dude-like entity. He knows it's not a Pomerian, but he says nothing. 2/4
frm that review I learned that Wallace voted for Reagan. Also Dft's Fishy speech is really just sad, 'education means you get to choose, if you want, to have a vague notion of brotherhood and oneness but w/e' turns out deciding what you want to worship is empty actually I mean look at Vance 🫣
the digital community exists in digital clusters now and is alienated from itself. a generated playlist is itself an autocommunity
instead of being bound by some kind of willing adventure they are bound by their measured similarities and this binding is called an 'AI product'
recommendation algorithms work better with more specific personal data. the kind of data OpenAI want to collect via always on microphones to form household psychology accountants
our personal infinite entertainment panopticons are being stalled by the need for extraction
its hell
what these platforms offer is basic - it's their hidden machine 'learning' system.. which I'm sure they think is the bees knees
the problem is the same for data and ML. for consumers it's better when tailored specifically for them which most likely means offline, unless we hit zero privacy
i could make my own music and video recommendation algorithm
its almost impressive that google/youtube somehow had me feeling like this wasn't possible, my brain was washed
the whole grift for tech is 30% about convincing techy people to not build their own stuff, isn't it?
bringing us to communities which fixate on the best and most refined of these looping scenes (CCTV angle, meme time, YouTuber dialect) and perhaps even data scientists who create modifications to these loops
this leading to the death of trust in specific scenes rather than broadly (2/2)
the illusion of the limitlessness of generative algorithms is something which can only work for a short amount of time
most will be bored but audiences for this repetitive content formed out of the designed boundaries will be the ones to carry this forward (1/2)
very 'ive been putting out the fire... with gasoliiiine' kinda energy going on
very 'this fire is out of control - ill burn ill burn ill burn it down'
much of the terminology is now tactical such as 'context window' or 'hallucination', this is meant to create a culture which accepts the idea that self-attention is context (rather than the capabilities i.e. the input) which divests the user of their will by not calling it an input
ai only produces pollutants, nothing else
to undo the damage of the terminology poison in machine 'learning' will be painful
'deep learning' should have been stopped
using exciting/easy to understand words to seek funding, users and ultimately approval created a world fascinated with a technology that simply does not exist
The drive for cheap maintenance plus a need for consistent growing retention rates is the problem. Software needs a lifespan.
I think enshittification occurs as a consequence of subscription to a software dependent on player social relationships + a demand for growth.
i think it's kind of funny that my programmer way of getting off the computer is to make a hobby out of merging myself into my computer more, at least it's gonna be more like arts and crafts what with all the little moving parts and learning how to make real physical stuff
Apart from being expensive. i think the personal feedback body suit for full body representation in data is a lifelong and individual goal
i can't seem to find much people interested in it outside of medicine and VR. Which makes sense. But I wanna control my machines with my body, maybe make music
im going to try and make my own full body exo nervous system body suit thing to make myself into a controller for my computer
I learned about bend sensors, IMUs, pose tracking but I felt meh. I started seeing stuff like this youtu.be/W0kQGQsR6is?... and tbh why not make a full suit of this stuff
Let nothing be called natural in an age of bloody confusion, ordered disorder, planned caprice, and dehumanised humanity, lest all things be held unalterable!

so it was actually fuzzy logic all along
the sky was the colour of a TV tuned to a dead channel -- so it's a good thing I have my Slopglasses on so that noise is all filtered away into beautiful anime girls and praise for every stupid idea I have
wow the fourth horseman of the apocalypse is still polling really well,
it's archer elf a real meanie
people are less interested in the internals of their computers preferring the feeling of magic and obscurity (more normal consumers less nerds) + the machines are just less bulky? I think the bigger the machine relative to its screen size the more curiosity people might have about its insides
oh my God
i like the character a lot i like that hes got headphones on as well damn
cool art !
