Aw no- I’m a similar vintage and have a similar number of unread books- I’ve just done the maths! Need to read more than the c.100 books a year I currently get through. Not cancelling NetGalley though!

Very small- Tale of Two Bad Mice and the Ant and Bee books were my favourites from the library. Loved the Dark is Rising series; collected endless Chalet School books from jumble sales and became a bit of a CS junkie as a result! As a teenager it was Agatha Christie books I gathered at those sales!
