Glad you enjoyed it! "Good and very upsetting" is always what I hope for.

I just learned that the sides of an axe head are called the "cheeks."
It's important to note that the person doing that discourse is a Timcast employee, so it's probably less genuine discourse than it is pure bad faith provocateur ghoul stuff.
100% this. In her followup post she's talking about people "denying biological reality," "men aren't women," etc. Maximum density of TERF particles, not even disguised.
oh HELL yeah, then I can definitely give some recommendations. The Ugly Stepsister still works I think, but if you want some real feel-bad cinema, maybe Sleep Tight (2011) or Kidnapped (2010).
If it's any encouragement, the back half of FF15 sort of cascades into an ending so fast you don't see it coming. You'll think you've got like 20 hours left but then it just tumbles through it all in a couple.
That said, I'm a big believer in "if it's not fun just quit."
What sorts of horror do you like? The Ugly Stepsister was the last one I really enjoyed on there. I feel like most of what I end up liking on there is more on the serious/intense side though, most of the "fun" stuff seems to be on Tubi.
I'd think purely from an accessibility POV, you'd want to design around text speed being completely flexible and customizable in either direction. Faster proceed options, or even slower (or ideally don't move on at all without player input).
As an example, they hammer in multiple times early on that one of the main kid's essential character traits is that he's a very accomplished, nearly Olympic-level runner. They couldn't Checkhov that gun any harder. Ah, a runner, a killer, ok, I see.
It never becomes relevant. He never runs.
This is the first that comes to mind, but it's genuinely impressive in the sheer quantity of ways it fails to pay off. There are *so* many threads carefully set up and then confusingly abandoned that it almost feels like they're trying to do some kind of intentional Brechtian alienation.
Yeah it's my first. I thought I had done everything and just spent probably 45 minutes trying to figure out where "submit for review" even was before I realized there was a THIRD admin page separate from the Steamworks and Store admin
I'm so close to get this Steam page launched. Every time I think I've hit the last step, I find out there's one more requirement.
Not surprising, but still funny to me that no less than three of the points in the Palantir ultra-fascist manifesto basically amount to "cancel culture is making celebrities so sad."
Gonna become a billionaire when I start selling my new men-only product, the Elite Protein 40mm Gunmetal Chrome Tactical Chocolate.
The alt text goes into more detail that I can't follow, but I got "Gato gordo" at least.
Thank you very much!
This can't be a coincidence. Somebody is telling us something.
Ahh ok, right, yeah. The worldview is "everything is fake" so it has to be fake somehow, makes sense
I don't even know how it would damage anybody's worldview. So many of the theories are just "what if instead of a random guy killing him, a different random guy killed him in a slightly different way?" Like OK, I guess, I dunno.
An email I received today, subject line: "Opportunity to Acquire Domain Name BestSwords.com"
I feel like this email is making fun of me.
There are SO many theories involving it being something like that. Tons think it was some guy in the crowd with a hidden wrist gun, or one of the staff people behind him. Nobody ever addressing the "but why would that be necessary" question.
Thank you very much!
Much appreciated. We're very excited how close it's getting!
South of the March page on Steam. It shows one of the early screenshots (a bridge crossing a river), short description of the game with title art, and Small Gray Games as Developer and Publisher.
Not live yet, but it's coming.
I've never been labeled with graphic media before! I didn't really think about it but I guess it kind of is lol
It's weird immediately seeing "Reese Witherspoon sucks" news because I watched Freeway for the first time literally last night and laughed stupidly hard at this scene.
I choose to believe that Jake petitioned for Mysterio to be a first responder, possibly one who helped out during 9/11, but I don't think he was.
I guess he's kind of simultaneously filling multiple slots there, but I think it'd broadly go into the "YES weird / NO first responder" category
Working on a comprehensive Jake Gyllenhaal theory of film where all of his performances hinge on two binaries:
1.) Is he supposed to be weird
2.) Is he a troop and/or first responder
It's important to note that #1 is not asking if he's weird (that's a yes), but if he's *supposed* to be weird.
ChatGPT: you’re right you’re so much smarter than him. He’s so schlubby and you’re so suave. Columbo will never catch you.
