It’s a Christmas miracle!

Absolutely. Amazingly curated, but just an obvious labour of love in every way.

I’m a sucker for a football game, and PES a key part of my career. As such, this was a brilliant present from Mrs M.

But all credit goes to @bitmapbooks.com. The design (laces for a bookmark. Genius) and effort that goes into their books never fails to impress. Best in class those guys…

I remember the filming! He never actually did it, but the pole vaulters who claimed to be able to place bottles on an arch while vaulting failed, and nobody else succeeded either.

Hence a quick retake…

Treated myself to a PS2 and had to play PES5 first.

Worked on that series for years, but this was peak PES for me. Newly promoted West Ham (well, East London) with Zamora and Benayoun, and before it started getting biased towards cover stars… *cough* Adriano.

Still plays like a dream, too..

So, the DOOM: Dark Ages exhibition is live at the Royal Armoury in Leeds…

An 11m tapestry recounting the launch trailer and replica Shield Saw. And opened by the Slayer.

Don't brag about work that often, so allow me this. But very proud of the Northern European team for this...

Great piece. Utterly soul-destroying, but a brilliant summation.

Obvious, I know, but SB really need to go. Everything they touch turns to mediocre.

Waiting for a flight so picked up a copy of Retro Gamer.

Brilliant mag as ever, but PS2 now falling under retro (and why wouldn’t it) has made me reach for the Werthers Originals and Saga Holiday brochures.

Replace the top few inches of soil to rebalance water-logging. Clean the leaves with a wet cloth. Use a spray to keep moist.

Or put it in indirect sunlight in a shower room. The extra moisture in the air will help.

Did Konami’s PR for about 16 years and this is the equivalent of my life flashing before my eyes.

And this is only one of six folders.

14 points until safety.

‘Potter weaving his magic’ or something. Although, more honestly, we rode our luck. Like one of them Quidditch brooms.
