The Calvin's dad explaining records meme. He is explaining that the two kinds of meme are Calvin's dad and Loss. Despite being a meme about Calvin's dad, this one is Loss.
There are sites that you can download Instagram reels, stories, and posts. I'm not sure about FB. story-viewer.co works for Instagram, there are also sites for TikTok.
I hope the teachers in my former HS in KY were more blue than they were in the 90's.
We spent over a decade in Nashville, it's hard to run a blue city when the state is actively fighting against it.
I grew up in Kentucky and Andy Beshear is great. Lexington is a beautiful city to visit.
And Academics. Kentucky's main cities have universities (UK, UofL, WKU, EKU, etc).
The governor is proof that Kentucky is purple thanks to its cities. Tennessee has more fake rednecks than real ones, the proof is in the votes.

Every time we go to replace a light in this new house I find wiring that makes me question why the house hasn't suffered electrical fires.
Under a poorly installed fan, the wires were all melted together. I'm no expert, but I'm positive that's bad.

Resharing this for the afternoon crowd. If you can donate, Stephen is wonderful and deserves better than life is giving him. If you can't give, please share. He's close to his goal, but any over will go to help with other bills. Thanks for sharing and/or helping.
My good friend Stephen was laid off last year, right after his wife had surgery. They are struggling and need help. I know it's hard for everyone right now, but Stephen is a helper and he needs help. #mutualaid #gofundme

I finally reached a human (I think) they put me on hold for half an hour before disconnecting. I was so angry, if I called for help, I expect a human eventually.
I had this last week, but it was for a prescription. The doctors office finally called it into my normal pharmacy and it was ready in 5 minutes.

I've noticed. But I think that's everywhere.
We need plumbers to fix a mess made by the previous owners and I'd love to get it painted before we have furniture we have to cover. We need to move in by mid April. I hope we make it.
It is, but it wasn't livable when we bought it and it doesn't have a bathroom sink or kitchen currently... we will move in well before it's finished. Which is why we're doing some things half assed.
We're remodeling the whole house before moving in... so it's another item on the huge list. It does feel half assed.
This is a conversation we're having right now.
For us it means sanding the doors and we're leaning towards, "Who's gonna see it?"
It was a good day.
The boys got lots of time outside and in their Snoopy wagon. We met lots of kind, like minded people and met up with some friends we met last October.
I think people think that the EU is a magic food wonderland because of the access to fresher foods.
Sorry if I'm not clear, I had my 45th Birthday colonoscopy today โ which is recommended all over the world because all the food sucks.
Ok, but the quality doesn't always. I'm comparing to Croatia, which keeps as much local as possible, so maybe that's why.
Living there for under 2 years measurably helped my GI symptoms.
Fresh food is cheaper than convenience foods there. I'm not saying the regulation is the issue, but access is
I'm not trying to be a smart ass or anything. But comparing the food in the UK to food in the EU seems mean to the EU.
England is not a member of the EU and have different regulations...
We have the idea of choice, but almost everything uses soy (I have a GI intolerance to soy). It's nearly impossible to live soy free, unless you have money or lots of time to cook.
It's not the additives, it's the overwhelming use of the cheapest subsidized ingredients by every manufacturer.

I lived in Croatia for almost two years after 40+ in the US. I got to stop my Prilosec and Probiotic. My cyclic vomiting syndrome went from monthly episodes to none. I came back to the US. I'm back on lifetime Prilosec, vomiting symptoms returned.

All these posts telling @andrealaflamme.bsky.social to drop out of the Maine primary feel like they are scared of her... ๐ค
That's the part I'm really looking forward to. That and the food afterwards.
How very boring.
