Playing vgc in pokemon champs has simplified my understanding of a general comp concept that applies to splat too.

Denying your opponent options/win conditions is as important, if not more, than setting up your own. Have a solid baseline of tools on your side, and otherwise it's all counterplay.

This has gotta be the funniest team I’ve played yet, and it’s been turning out very well for me. I have so many options to both disrupt opponents and hit hard. It’s actually hilarious. This is the type of meme strategy I strive for.

I’m running a Torkoal & Mega Camerupt Sun Room team, but with an added twist… I’ve got Kings Rock Toucannon on the team, and my primary TR Setter and Support, is Oranguru. Under TR, Toucannon uses Skill Link attacks for high flinch chance. Oranguru also uses Encore to disrupt opponents as well.

I’ve just created the funniest fucking team dude. Sun Room + Trolling.

Probably gonna ask for Tomadachii Life for my Birthday. Unless I decide to save it for later, due to other focuses and such.
