I wanted to convey Yuji's compassion, whilst simultaneously showing Sukuna's legacy. The once-grand statue now lies shattered in a pond, slowly being swallowed by the earth.

Yet one person remains, perhaps the one with the kindest soul, who helped the monster go north.
