Here are some of my ideas for variants on how the Andalites (from the book series “Animorphs”) could look in a film or tv show, exploring different possibilities for their alien, centaur-like anatomy!

Look at a living puppet named Ptinkin. Left is the awkward cross legged skeletal construct made of white ivory and deep purple strings. His head is large and simple, with two dot eyes and a slit resembling a nose. To the side is a look at his open mouth, hollow with only strings to act as muscle and sinew. Right is Ptinkin outstretched, his strings pulled far to increase his height and proportions. He is posed as if he's about to attack like a ferocious beast, reeling back one hand like a bear about to strike.

Played the Neverway demo, and am sad that this game has completely bounced off for me. Combat that I REALLY do not jive with, some annoying tension breaking ("oh you didn't chop enough trees to level jp, backtrack"), and just... well, there goes ever using them again I guess

so usually if i need an actual "warmup" in terms of literally getting my fingers moving, warmed up and circulating blood, i'm better off playing a short game on controller with a clear endpoint (so i don't accidentally do THAT for multiple hours) and then jump right into art. it usually works for me

my art process summed up:
- I start scribbling something random as a warmup
- I end up really liking it
- I spend the next several hours polishing it
- I don't make what I set out to when sitting down to draw
- repeat
