Assuming I can get this account set up properly, this is probably gonna be the last time I do this. Discord support has made it abundantly clear that they don't give two shots about having someone reliable to fix things instead of these useless bots

Welp, I made a new Discord account, but now it's not letting me use my email cause it's still attached to the old account and instead of just deleting the old account Discord support is giving me the fucking run around again instead of just doing what I fucking ask

I like to think that if he was ever actually in a game, there'd be tricks and exploits that the game would actually encourage players to use to get through each area as quickly as and stylishly as possible. I also like to think his game would play like Ori meets Megaman Zero

I noticed the over the top stats, and it's all in good fun, but it honestly encouraged me to dial mine back a little, though thinking about it now, his stats are still a bit ridiculous lol

I think of it kind of like in video game terms in-game he's strong but not infallible in canon though he's absurdly powerful. One example that comes to mind is Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden in-game he's super fast and strong but pretty easily cut down if you're not careful in canon he's God tier

Well, I've done just about everything I can to get my Discord account back, and now all that's left to do is wait for an email from Discord, hopefully bearing good news. If I don't have it back by the end of the week, I may just make a new account

So, if anyone here who sees this has ever had to restore access to their discord account after it was banned or disabled after getting hacked/stolen please let me know what you had to do for Discord support in order to get your account back

Given the recent events, I think a second opinion is needed before I take further action so I can hopefully avoid riskier actions that could potentially lead to other online vulnerabilities

To that end I would like to pose a question to anyone else who has ever had their discord account hacked, stolen or otherwise banned what steps discord support asked of you in order to get your account back

Ok, so I've taken just about every precaution I can to ensure I don't have the same issues I've had for the past week with that being said though there is one thing I still need to do. Get discord to reinstate/restore my account and reset the password to make sure it stays secure

I also think I'm gonna start using a VPN and a few other services to hopefully prevent anything like this from ever happening again

If worse comes to worse I'll just see about wiping my hard drive or deleting basically everything off my computer and starting fresh. If that doesn't allow me to get my Discord account back then I'll just make a new one.

For context I'm thoroughly convinced what the hacker linked me to was some kind of virus that as long as my computer is on will steal my data obviously starting with my Discord. I'm hoping the next few steps I take will resolve this but there's no guarantees.

Welp after being signed out of bluesky for a second I was almost convinced the hacker stole this account too I'm glad I was wrong

Apologies friends, I forgot to follow up on this. Fortunately, I still have my job but I'm on very thin ice so I've got to approach that whole situation very carefully. I'm currently on holiday vacation so I don't have to worry about it right this minute but I'll still have to tread carefully

Potentially good news everyone I may have even more time to practice digital art soon but also potentially bad news that's only because I may be losing my job over something stupid tomorrow

I'm thinking about getting into digital art to help motivate myself to just create more cause this slump I've been living in for the past decade is going to suffocate me if I don't just do something I have the tools I just need to get started

I honestly wish I could get any of the special trainer cards but I can't complain too much I guess I've got lots of Full art cards and decent amount of EX cards
