I do understand why folk, especially creative folk, reject AI. I don't use it for work because that's not the use case for me. For learning though, I think it's really powerful. I guess you could put me in the "hate the player, not the game" camp.

I’ll ask it to trim down without editorializing and to improve the flow because I tend to ramble. But then I’ll ask things like “What other ideas are out there like this?” and it provides context. I’ve heard people say AI wants to stop us from learning, but for me, it’s only fueled my curiosities.

I do, Ross! I go for nature walks every day and I tend to have a lot of existential thoughts while I’m walking. So I make voice memos and run them through ChatGPT to help me organize my thoughts and to fill in knowledge gaps… I guess I don’t fit the ‘not nerdy’ qualifier 🙂
