I'm hoping to get over to try and see the Texel Spectacled Eider in Dec/Jan, does anyone know any reliable Middle spotted Woodpecker and Black Woodpecker sites, I'll have a car so travelling won't be an issue?

Had a feel there was a goodie just round the corner, but unfortunately couldn't dig it out. Maybe tomorrow as the afternoon rain was quite heavy down here!

If any Spanish birders local to Nerja want to follow this up, it would be very interesting to see the outcome? Not sure how to put it out there?
