Start running, if you can be a better runner than your partner then that's where you'll recover. Rowing, Burpees and wall balls will all need practice, especially if you're still recovering from a shoulder injury.
An excellent thread from one of the great philosophers of our age
RIP to the Honda/Sony Afeela, possibly the most underwhelming looking electric car concept of the past 10 years. www.ft.com/content/b858...
Agreed, these looked so much better than the MK3 Clio and Corsa D that came out at roughly the same time.
Counterpoint.

Just watched the Weiner-mobile pick up someone from the airport
I second that the French gods are cunning and vengeful to those who wish for a Citroen Visa.
Great to see a Mk2 Transit still out and about being useful. The backbone of Britain and all that...

It's called hostile design. They only took away massive bumpers to give the homeless one less place to sleep.
There's no such thing as a "4-door pickup" in my eyes. Those are just Sports Utility Mullets.
You may remember the 5 door lift back Mazda Lantis / 323F, but who recalls the even rarer 4 door saloon?
I borrowed one to drive my friend to Auckland Airport in about 2017 after my Alfa Romeo 156 V6 cracked its coolant reservoir and tried to overheat driving over the Kaimai ranges.
It's always a good day for a Mazda 323F / Lantis
If, like me, anybody has been wondering whether you can wear a Fiat Cinquecento as a coat, this lady confirms you can.
Blaupunkts aren't hugely better than the Chinese stuff. The guts of them are broadly similar but the touch points (buttons, dials etc) tend to be better quality.
The Pioneer is actually a genuinely very good quality set but has a price tag that sits well above matching that quality.
I've just remembered that I briefly was driving one of these, although it was badged as an Escape. I think it was a 2.0 and I think it was basically fine once I'd changed the heater resistor. Very unmemorable otherwise.
I spotted one of the rarest cars that I'd be amazed if anyone cared about. A Mk2 Ford Maverick V6. A thinly disguised Mazda Tribute which is also vanishingly rare here.

One of those cars that I would really love to own but have no idea why.
‘What’s the last car you stopped to take a picture of?’
The pair of twisted yellow brown/yellow black wires to the interior fusebox area and the white/red data wire to the bcm have good continuity so I'm not too suspicious of them yet
Other than a basic OBD2 reader with torque and VCDS my diagnostic options are pretty limited. I'm hoping it's not the central unit at fault as it seems like a nuisance getting a new one to work and have the correct mileage on the odometer.
