As a tall person I cannot offer to reach something on a high shelf for a stranger, yet if they ask me I must oblige. This is the law of the giants

My fave too! (sorry Silent)
StS2 is really good! Playing it at the moment. Evolves the game nicely.
A small creature in a teal robe and yellow hood, clutching a censer. It's a painted miniature.
Going to play Blood Bowl for the first time in a while today. This evil little guy from @heresyminiatures.com is the coach for my Chaos team :) (he's under "hoodie" on Heresy's store)
TOMORROW we'll be at #MadGamesShow in Madrid‼️
Come say hi and play GodsTV! We can't wait to see you there! ✌️

all these universities kept axing medieval history departments as if they thought tyrants beefing with the Pope was going to stop being relevant
Add £25 of miniatures (or putty!) to the basket, use code 5OFF25 to take £5 off! Ends tonight in four hours!

In the spirit of trans visibility, lemme just plug my ongoing project to document as many pre-2010 games as possible that had a trans person on the dev team. You might be surprised by what's on there. There's games going right back to the sixties!

I would subscribe to HBO to watch that! I really should buy a copy & reread it too, I think I borrowed a friend's copy at the time.

looking at the GDC talks for this year and this kinda sums it up, huh
Look out! EXPELLED has fallen to its lowest ever price as a Steam Daily Deal - this window won’t last long so strike it while it’s too Good to be True!
Seconded!
GDC is not real, it can't hurt you
I don't know what game this is, but importing the Space Marine 2 character models into it was genius.
Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (1999). Criminally underrated game.
Two of my interests collide... and I miss my Amiga.
If you've never read it, check it out, as you're in for a treat. Wonderfully told, sumptuously drawn and deeply moving.
You shouldn't be allowed to be a conspiracy theorist if you've never done an office move

Sto Lat-ass post
Very proud to be working with Alex & his team, and eager to show folk what they've been brewing up.
Post a game you remember playing that nobody else remembers
British fire hydrant sign, bright yellow with a large black letter H, with numbers above and below the H. Affixed to a concrete wall.
My question is, why do they have a UK fire hydrant sign on the wall?
Same for me! I was really into the cynicism of the strips for a good while in the 90s, but I came away from that book thinking “this guy is definitely no longer playing with a full deck”. What followed later didn’t feel like much of a surprise after that.
As the son of a librarian, it's very, very hard for me to put a book in the trash. It's just wrong on a fundamental level. Stuff goes for donation no matter what. However, when I found a Scott Adams book (a gift from my dad 30 years ago) while packing up to move, I made an exception.
100% truth, worth a read.
Congrats to all of this year's Indiecade nominated games, especially proud of KUU by @interactivetragedy.com and Wilmot Works It Out from @hollowponds.bsky.social!

I'm really glad you recommended it to me!
